what we do
Built to WCAG 2.1 AA as our target
We design and build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our standard. It is a target we work to continually rather than a one-off certification.
Keyboard and screen-reader friendly
Every page uses semantic HTML with clear headings and landmarks, a skip-to-content link, visible keyboard focus, and labelled form fields so the site can be used without a mouse.
Readable and adaptable
We aim for AA colour contrast, text that reflows and scales when you zoom, and inputs that are large enough to tap comfortably on a phone.
Respects your preferences
If your device is set to reduce motion, we honour that and turn off non-essential animation.
known limitations
We’re always improving, and some areas may not yet be perfect. In particular, the online booking calendar is provided by a third party and its accessibility is outside our direct control. If you’d rather not use it, you can always call us on 01977 802605 and we’ll happily arrange everything with you over the phone.
