“Ive been in my first home since January of 2026, I first contacted Claire in July 2025 and she was just absolutely amazing from the get go and made this whole process so much easier and calmer for me. She was able to work around my work schedule, easy to get in touch with and always responded quickly, and never made me feel silly when I didn’t know something, or needed aspects repeating or explaining again. I’m a young first time buyer with very limited knowledge on mortgages etc, but Claire was so patient and thorough, and helped me feel confident in making these important decisions, including many things that I wouldn’t have had a clue existed or that I needed before Claire. Claire gave solicitor recommendations with what would work for my budget, what type of mortgage with explanations or pros/cons etc, budget planning, setting up insurance, sorting out extra bits on my mortgage application that I hadn’t even thought of, like gifted parts of the deposit, and was able to help with little things like what my answers were meant to be on forms that were worded in a confusing way (from solicitors or mortgage companies). Claire filled in applications with me in real time, and sorted additional forms/applications too such as the unexpected mortgage offer extension (due to sellers solicitors being slow). Claire was just overall the best mortgage advisor I could have hoped for. Louise, mortgage admin assistant, was prompt in chasing up the solicitors and was so knowledgable about the process and was able to be explicit with solicitors about where we should be at and held them to a high standard. Roger always kept us informed and worked with us to find the best deal. He was always in contact with the lenders and even managed to secure us a lower interest rate by getting in our application before the rates rose again. He went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful for his support. Roger is knowledgeable and will tell you how it is without all the waffle and jargon. At a time when rates were going up almost weekly Paula acted fast and helped me secure the best rate for me on a fixed rate deal, literally locking a deal in for me at 5pm before the rates increased by another 0.5%, I couldn't wish for a better service. The process was slick and efficient throughout and I felt valued as a customer. Once an offer was secured and we began the conveyancing Louise was always in our corner, chasing up progress and making sure everything flowed at the right pace and we were fully informed throughout. Due to my partners job my current (at the time) mortgage provider were unhelpful and told us they wouldn’t lend to us, and other high street lenders were unlikely too as well. We had be trying for 4 months to arrange an equity release on our existing mortgage to fund an extension and after loads of messing about we were offered a lower borrow than we needed with the condition of paying off other debts we hadn’t planned to do.
